We discuss the work done by Jean-Philippe Nicolas in his paper 'Conformal Scattering on the Schwarzschild metric'. Namely, the construction of a conformal scattering theory for the wave equation on the exterior of the Schwarzschild metric based on energy decay and then the re-interpretation of the conformal theory as analytic scattering by specifying corresponding wave operators.
