Fourier Interpolation and Modular Forms
Thursday, 17 October, 2024 - 10:30
Résumé :
I will talk about recent constructions of Fourier interpolation formulas based on modular forms. These are formulas that allow one to recover a sufficiently nice function on Euclidean space from discrete samples of it and its Fourier transform. I will also describe an application of these formulas in sphere packing and energy minimization problems.
